The Leafield Marine C7 valve has become the favourite inflatable boat valve for use in demanding applications such as Military and Commercial RIBs, River Rafts and Inflatable Boats. Its stylish appearance has also won it many fans in the luxury RIB and tender market.
When the cap is fitted the strong retaining strap is hidden from view to prevent it snagging on other equipment. Cap replacement is simple – the valve does not need to be removed.
The C7 core is available in grey or black and the caps are available in grey, black and white.
The Leafield Marine D7 valve is designed to replace the highly successful C7 Valve – the favoured inflatable boat valve for use in demanding applications such as Military and Commercial RIBs, River Rafts and Inflatable Boats.
The D7 Valve has improved inflation/deflation speed compared to the C7. It has an improved clamping method, with an ‘O’ ring seal added to the valve core, to reduce the risk of lateral leaks in the fabric.
Acetal (POM) plastic parts give high strength with chemical, ozone and shock resistance.
The seal is designed so that it cleans the seal surface as it operates; this reduces the risk of leakage due to dirt contamination.
The D7 valve has a shorter, smoother internal profile than other valves making it ideal for smaller diameter tubes, for example – inflatable kayak floors.

The D7 core is available in grey or black and the caps are available in grey, black and white.
The Leafield Marine D7 drop stitch valve is specifically designed for use with high pressure drop stitch fabric. It is ideal for use in paddle boards, rescue platforms and water park equipment. It is also used in demanding Commercial and Military applications such as boats and combat craft.
The internal mesh filter is designed to stop drop stitch threads and debris from entering the valve seal and causing leaks.
The seal has been designed to operate reliably at the high pressures required with drop stitch.
It has the same clamping method, and ‘O’ ring seal added to the valve core, to reduce the risk of lateral leaks in the fabric as the standard D7.

The A6 Pressure Relief Valve has become a firm favourite with many manufacturers of leisure liferafts, RIBs and river rafts around the world. It is ideal for any use where compact and reliable valves are critical, for example, on commercial & military inflatable boats. The opening and closing pressures are accurately pre-set and repeatable.
A filter cap is available for use in environments where contamination is possible e.g. river rafts. This prevents contamination without affecting the pressure relief function.
A range of pressure settings are available (see selection chart). The valves are marked with the date and pressure setting.
The valve is available in grey, black or white. We can provide a black or red plug where a secondary seal is required, for example in liferaft applications. Please note that when the plug is in place, the valve does NOT function as a pressure relief valve.
The patented Switchable Transfer Valve provides an internal link between adjoining chambers of an inflatable boat providing a single point of inflation. It can be easily opened and closed to connect the chambers by rotating a control switch.
The control switch is fitted on the outside of the tube in a position to suit the user. It has markings to show if it is open or closed. Also, the user can check if the STV switch is open or closed by the shape of the cap i.e.by touch alone. The opposite end of the STV hose locates onto the internal baffle of the boat tube, using our Snap Fit Connector.
The Valve provides a high flow with a clear 24mm diameter aperture between chambers to provide rapid inflation.
The Valve assemblys hose is flexible to help reduce the packed size of the deflated boat
.
The valve is made from marine grade acetyl plastics and the internal switch is made from stainless steel, reducing the risk of corrosion.
There is no need for routine maintenance due to the design and the materials used.
This inflation system consists of a cylinder, hose system and inlet valves. A wide range of components are available, examples of which are shown above and in the sample layout. These components are customized to your boat or self righting system design, to ensure rapid and even inflation of the boat or safety equipment
